A journey discovering Vietnam and its culture that begins in its capital Hanoi: the city of mopeds, narrow houses and electric cables. It is a city where life starts and grows on the streets. The journey continues north to the province of Lào Cai, in the district of Sa pa, where the world-famous terraced rice fields can be admired. Moving on eastwards you reach Ha Long Bay: an archipelago of 2,000 limestone isles which was declared a World Heritage Site in 1994. Here it is possible to rent a boat and visit the fishing village. In the centre of Vietnam, the city of Hội still preserves the beauty of the old city and its temples. The journey finishes in Ho Chi Minh City, old Saigon. The city famous for intense clashes during the war with the Americans between 1955 and 1975.
